These terms cover using this directory, whether you are looking for training or listing a business on it.
What this site is
A directory of firearm training providers. We list businesses, we check some of their credentials, and we pass messages between them and the people who contact them. We are not a licensing body, we do not run the courses, and we are not party to anything you agree with a provider.
Your account
- You need to confirm your email address before you can list a business, review one, or claim one.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- You can delete your account from your dashboard at any time.
If you list a business
- You confirm you are entitled to represent it, and that what you write about it is true.
- You keep the rights to your own photographs and text. You give us permission to show them on this site.
- Your listing is read by a person before it is published, and again when you edit a published one.
- We can decline or take down a listing that breaks the Listing Guidelines. We will tell you why.
Paid plans
- Plans are billed by our payment provider. Card details are entered on their systems and never reach this site.
- You can cancel from your dashboard. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- When a plan ends, listings above the free allowance are hidden rather than deleted, and come back if you subscribe again. A verified badge is never removed for not paying - it was earned, not bought.
Reviews and messages
Reviews are covered by the Review Policy. Messages go through this site so neither side has to hand over an email address; do not use them to send anything you would not want a moderator to read.
What we do not promise
We check what we say we check and nothing more. We do not guarantee that a provider is competent, insured, currently trading, or approved for the permit you want. Confirm that yourself with the issuing body before you pay anybody.
Changes
We may change these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
We are a directory, not a licensing body. We do not issue permits, certifications or credentials, and a listing here is not an endorsement. Details are supplied by the providers themselves. Before you book, confirm with the issuing body that the course is approved for the permit you want.
