The rules for using the directory, submitting a listing and posting reviews — including the limits of what our verification means.

These terms form an agreement between you and CCW Directory LLC covering your use of this website and every service reachable from it. By browsing listings, submitting a business, writing a review or contacting a provider through us, you accept them as written.
If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you do not accept these terms, stop using the site.
You must be at least eighteen years old to submit a listing, post a review or send a message through the directory. Reading listings requires no account.
You may not use the service if a court order, an agency decision or applicable law prohibits you from possessing a firearm or from operating a firearm training business, and you may not use it to help someone else evade such a prohibition.
Owner accounts require accurate business information and a working email address that belongs to the business. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for everything done through your account.
When you submit or claim a listing you warrant that you are authorized to represent the business, that the details are accurate on the day you submit them, and that you hold every license and insurance policy the law requires where you operate.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, adapt for layout and distribute your listing content while it is published, and to keep archival copies afterwards.
CCW Directory is not a licensing authority, a certifying body or a government agency. We do not issue, award, renew or revoke any certification, permit or qualification, and we are neither affiliated with nor endorsed by any organization whose credentials appear on this site.
A verification badge means one thing: on the date shown, the organization named in a credential claim confirmed to us that the credential was active at that time. It says nothing about teaching quality, safety record, business practices or current status, and it is not a recommendation.
Before you enroll, pay a deposit or attend a class, you must independently confirm the provider’s current credentials with them and with the issuing organization, and you must confirm the legal requirements that apply in your own state for the permit or activity you have in mind. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
Reviews must describe your own genuine experience with a provider. You keep ownership of what you write and grant us a perpetual licence to publish, moderate and excerpt it.

Standard listings are free. Featured placement, calendar modules and sponsorship are billed in advance at the price shown at checkout, per location, and renew automatically on the anniversary date unless cancelled beforehand.
The directory’s design, code, editorial copy, categories and compiled data are owned by CCW Directory LLC and protected by copyright and other laws. Our name and logo may not be used without written permission.
Certification names, seals and trademarks referenced on listings remain the property of the organizations that own them and are used only to describe what a provider reports holding.
Listings link to provider websites, booking tools and map services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement of the destination.
The service is provided as is and as available. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Listing information is supplied by businesses and may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. We do not warrant that any provider is qualified, insured, available or suitable for you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, CCW Directory LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from any interaction with a listed provider.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CCW Directory LLC and its officers, staff and contractors from claims, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from content you submit, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
We may suspend or remove a listing, an account or access to the service at any time if these terms are breached, if a credential claim cannot be substantiated, or if continued publication would mislead students. You may stop using the service or request removal of your listing at any time.
We update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes are announced on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. The state and federal courts located in Tarrant County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and both parties consent to venue there.
