What we publish, what we refuse, and the standard every firearm training listing has to meet to stay in the directory.
Last updated: January 2026
Listings are for businesses and individuals that deliver firearm training or directly related services in the United States: permit and concealed carry courses, private instruction, indoor and outdoor ranges, defensive and tactical programs, gunsmithing, and courses aimed at specific groups such as women’s or youth training.
A submission is only reviewed once it contains all of the following:
Everything on your listing must be true on the day it is published and kept true afterwards. Pricing shown as a range must reflect what a student would actually pay, including mandatory range or rental fees.
We re-confirm listings on a rolling cycle. A listing we cannot confirm loses its verified badge and may drop out of featured placement until the details are brought up to date.
You may only display credentials you actually hold, under the exact name the issuing organization uses, with the certificate or licence number available on request. Expired credentials must be removed from your listing.
Certification names remain the property of the organizations that issue them. Displaying a credential here is a factual statement about your qualification, not a claim of partnership, sponsorship or endorsement by that organization.
Logos, seals, emblems and badges belonging to certifying organizations or government agencies may not be uploaded to a listing, used in a cover photo, or embedded in your business logo. We remove them on sight.
The following will not be published, and repeat submissions lead to removal:
Photos should show your actual facility, classroom or instruction. Bright, evenly lit, in focus, minimum 1200 pixels wide, landscape orientation for cover images.
Reviews belong to the students who wrote them. Owners may not offer discounts, free range time or any other incentive for a review, write reviews of their own business, or ask us to remove a review because it is unflattering.
You get one public response per review. Use it to correct facts and explain what you changed; responses that identify a student, threaten legal action or insult the reviewer are removed.
The verified badge is earned, never sold. It reflects a credential check with a date attached and cannot be purchased, bundled or expedited by payment.
Featured placement is paid, capped per state so it retains value, and always labelled as featured. Buying placement does not change how reviews are moderated or how credential checks are decided.
We suspend or remove listings when:
Suspended listings are hidden from search while under review rather than deleted outright.
If your listing is suspended or removed, write to us within thirty days with the listing name and the documentation that addresses the reason we gave. Certificates, licence records and correspondence from the issuing organization carry the most weight.
Appeals are reviewed by someone who did not make the original decision, normally within ten business days. Where a listing is reinstated, its reviews and verification history are restored with it.
