Weekday sessions start after school. Family sessions are mostly booked at weekends, so weekend slots fill three to four weeks ahead.
About Front Range Youth & Family Shooting
Front Range works with families. The core of it is a parent and child session for ages twelve and up, where the two of you learn together: safety rules first, then handling, then a supervised bay with one instructor for every two shooters. A parent or guardian stays for the whole session, which is not negotiable.
Alongside that we run an adult first-timer class for people who have never handled a firearm and would rather not start in a room full of experienced shooters, and a womens-only version of the same class once a month.
Everything is taught on a rented bay at an indoor range close to downtown, so the environment is controlled, warm and predictable. Equipment is provided including correctly sized ear and eye protection for younger shooters, which is the part most places get wrong.
