About Ridgeline Defensive Training
Ridgeline runs two and three day defensive courses on leased high desert ground north of Flagstaff, at around seven thousand feet. Terrain is uneven and open, which is the point: the drills move, and students work positions rather than standing on a flat line.
Every course is capped at eight students against two instructors. That ratio is the reason people travel for it, because each repetition is watched and corrected rather than counted. Courses build from fundamentals through movement, barricades and low light, and each day closes with a debrief on video.
Both instructors came from law enforcement backgrounds and hold current certifications. We do not run beginner classes; students should already be comfortable and safe with their firearm before enrolling. A skills check runs on the first morning.
